Repair Gloves ESD - Size XL
Description
The ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) repair gloves are essential technical protection equipment for handling highly sensitive electronic components. In a micro-maintenance environment, a simple invisible static discharge generated by the technician's movements can be enough to destroy integrated circuits (IC) or cause latent failures on motherboards. These gloves ensure controlled dissipation of static electricity, providing total safety during disassembly and reassembly of smartphones, tablets, and computer equipment.
The structure of these gloves is based on a precision knitting combining high-quality nylon and conductive carbon filaments. This technology allows achieving a surface resistance compliant with international standards (10^6 to 10^9 Ohms), ensuring that electrical charges are smoothly discharged. The lightweight mesh design ensures excellent breathability, limiting hand sweating during prolonged interventions under a microscope. The XL size offers optimal comfort for large hands, avoiding muscle fatigue related to too narrow equipment.
Beyond electrostatic protection, these gloves protect devices against biological contaminants. They block the transfer of sebum, sweat, and skin particles to internal components, thus preventing the risk of connector corrosion and cleanliness defects on optical modules and screens. Their anti-lint finish ensures that no textile particles obstruct delicate mechanisms or display areas when closing the chassis.

Workshop & Usage Advice
To ensure complete ESD protection, wear these gloves in addition to an antistatic bracelet and a grounded work mat. During maintenance, prefer hand washing or machine washing at 30°C with a neutral detergent. The use of softeners is strictly prohibited as they leave an insulating greasy film that cancels out the conductive properties of carbon. We recommend replacing the gloves as soon as the wrist elasticity decreases or the mesh shows signs of wear, in order to maintain an effective barrier against static discharges and skin residues.
