Workshop & Usage Advice

The precision of the Z4 optics is a major asset for track reconstruction work (jumpers). To optimize working distance and protect your lenses, we recommend using a 0.5X Barlow lens (not included) that will double your space under the microscope to manipulate your soldering iron more freely. Given the high optical resolution, make sure to use a powerful and adjustable LED ring light to eliminate shadows. Remember to adjust the diopter setting on each eyepiece to obtain a perfectly sharp image and avoid visual fatigue after several hours of use.
