The Xiaomi Router AX1500 democratises access to Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) technology, offering faster and more stable wireless connectivity than traditional routers. Designed to meet the needs of modern homes, it delivers a combined speed of up to 1500 Mbps. The integration of OFDMA technology is a major technical advantage: it allows data to be transmitted to multiple terminals in a single transmission, drastically reducing latency and interference in environments where many devices are connected simultaneously.

In terms of wired infrastructure, the AX1500 features four auto-adaptive (Auto-sensing) Gigabit Ethernet ports. For quick setup, download the Xiaomi Home app and scan the code under the router; the WAN port auto-detection greatly simplifies installation for non-experts. To maximise Wi-Fi 6 performance, ensure you enable the "Smart Connect" function which merges the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands under a single network name (SSID), allowing the router to choose the optimal frequency for each device. When deploying in Mesh mode, take care not to place the nodes too far apart to maintain a stable backhaul, which is essential for preserving Wi-Fi 6 speeds at the end of the chain.
